Gavilan Peak School has a strong track record of providing an excellent education to all students in our award-winning Global Leadership Academy. We offer a balanced education for the whole child through our vision goals to Learn, Lead, and Create. We provide advanced academic achievement for gifted and honors students, fine arts showcases with our Spring Musical, ACE Assemblies, band, piano lab, chorus and International Dance teams, championship sports as part of our winning history, and 21st Century skills in problem-based learning, world language in our Mandarin Project and advanced technology.

Gavilan Peak students Learn, Lead and Create by participating in our annual internationally themed events. Students apply classroom learning, practice leadership and showcase their creations at our Multi-Cultural Appreciation Week, International Night of the Arts, Science World Expo and the Great World of Reading Events.

Ethical leadership is promoted through service learning as we partner with organizations such as: Water for Our World, Junior Diabetes Research Foundation, American Heart Association, Anthem Cares and supporting our Sister Schools around the world. We partner with schools in China, Taiwan, Uganda and Brazil to build bridges of learning, understanding and communication.

Global Problem Solving Units infuse the curriculum with innovative ways to stimulate student curiosity about our world and see the inter-relatedness of our world systems. This year's problem solving theme is water. Students will learn about this precious world resource, how to protect, preserve, maintain and sustain its usefulness as they apply math, science, social studies, writing and presentation skills to their learning.

The caring and dedicated teachers at Gavilan Peak are highly qualified, college educated professionals. They have traveled to our sister schools around the world. Gavilan teachers are tops in the world participating in regular training and we have teachers who are Teachers of the Year and mentors. Their enthusiasm for students is evident everyday in their classes. Gavilan Peak teachers instill the joy of learning in their work.
