This year do something that will impact the lives of students. Keep your tax dollars local! Any amount will help DVUSD students. Your tax credit goes directly to the school you choose, not to the state or district. Your school tax credit donations can provide DVUSD students with opportunities to after school and summer programs, field trips, music and athletic programs or any other extracurricular activity.
The Arizona tax credit program (A.R.S. 43-1089.01) allows a tax credit of up to $200 for individuals and up to $400 for married couples, filing jointly, in support of extracurricular activities. Submit your tax credit online on the district’s website, www.dvusd.org or pick up or download the form and mail in your check. Your tax credit receipt will be mailed to you.
DVUSD Arts Festival takes place this Saturday, March 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Shops at Norterra (Happy Valley and I-17).

The federal Teacher Incentive Fund Grant has been awarded to DVUSD led by Arizona State University in coordination with the U.S. Department of Education, Arizona Department of Education, and the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching. The goals of the grant project include increasing student achievement, retaining highly effective educators, and fostering exemplary school culture in the highest-need communities across the state. Nearly $500,000 will be awarded to our school.
