eSchool
Welcome to the gateway to online classes offered by eSchool.dvusd.org in the Deer Valley Unified School District. Tuition is $150 per course plus a book deposit.

ESEA (Elementary and Secondary Education Act)
Enacted in 1965, the ESEA has been known as the Improving Americas' Schools Act (IASA) and No Child Left Behind (NCLB). It is currently due for reauthorization by Congress. Arizona is one of more than 20 states that has requested a waiver related to the existing accountability requirements until the reauthorization is approved.

Head Start
Head Start is a Federal and State funded preschool program. The Deer Valley Unified School District offers Head Start at several elementary sites. There is no charge to eligible families.

Kindergarten

Prevention Services
The Deer Valley Unified School District offers prevention programs to address potential student alcohol and drug use and abuse, low self-esteem and self-destructive behaviors.

SEI Program
The Stuctured English Immersion (SEI ) program consists of daily instruction in English language development involving listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

Special Education
Deer Valley offers special education programs for preschool through age 21 in several areas.

Title I
