I attended NAU for my math/teaching degree.  I started my teaching career in Prescott Valley in 1993 where I stayed for 9 years until returning to the North Phoenix area in 2002 after accepting a position in the Deer Valley District.  I am in my 30th year of teaching and have taught a variety of math classes throughout my career.  I have been teaching algebra 3-4 honors and regular for the past 10 years and love it.    I am blessed with an amazing wife and son at home.  My son is a Junior in high school this coming school year in the Deer Valley District and my wife is a reading specialist at Desert Sage Elementary.  I enjoy a multitude of action sports including quad riding at Glamis, Jet Sking at Lake Pleasant, and playing indoor soccer.  I am a DIY guy who loves learning new things and seeing the application of math in my projects.  Math helps to answer the question of why and gives us precision and the ability to predict the future.  Go figure!
