Hello! This is my 1st year at New River and 6th with DVUSD. I have been an educator for 22 years. In addition to being with your student M-W-F, I am also a graduate level professor. I teach K12 teachers getting their master's degree in educational technology.

I am originally from Iowa and have lived in Texas and California. I have 2 sons - Tyler and Cooper. Cooper is a freshman and Tyler is a junior.

I look forward to being on your team as we work together to help your child grow. Gifted education is a passion of mine and I am also the parent of gifted so I know the unique challenges and the pure blessings of witnessing their growth and supporting them when they stumble.
