My name is Denise Holmes and I am extremely excited to be the RTI-B Specialist at Sunrise this year. I graduated from NAU with a dual degree in Special Education and Elementary Education.  I was in the classroom for the next 6 years, then I was blessed to stay at home with my 4 children for the following 15 years.   I have taught in Deer Valley for the past 11 years.  Three of those years were at Legend Springs and 8 at Sierra Verde.

I  have 4 amazing children.  Clayton is 25 and is  a manager for a tech company.  Taylor is 23, and a resource teacher in the Washington Elementary School District.  Hayden is 19 --a Sophomore at Grand Canyon University.  Finally, David is 17 and is a Senior at Mountain Ridge.
