Hello! My name is Gabrielle Nevers and I will be starting my first year of teaching here at West Wing with the Special Education team! I will be servicing 6th-8th grade ELA this year and I am very excited! I have lived here in Arizona and the West Valley my whole life, and I love

exploring new places in our beautiful state! I come from a long line of teachers in my family, including my parents who both teach in the Deer Valley District! I enjoy traveling, reading, and being outdoors!

 

I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary and Special Education, with a Structured English Immersion Endorsement. I completed my student teaching in the Flagstaff Unified School District where I taught 3rd grade and 6th-8th grade ELA resource. I am looking forward to working with all of the staff, parents, and students this coming school year and I am thankful to be a part of the West Wing family!
