All Things E.Q. at Park Meadows
Students benefit from the weekly insights & enjoy the program. Watching students take ownership in their school and coming to class with a purpose is incredible. It doesn’t happen overnight, but the culture shifts from “What’s in it for me?” to “How can I help?” and that shift occurs faster when the school has positive student role models on campus.

Meet Mrs. Lanese
Dear Park Meadows Parents and Guardians, I am excited to introduce myself to you as the new Park Meadows principal. I’ll tell you a little about myself and my background. I grew up in the beautiful state of Maine but my family moved here to Phoenix just in time for me to attend high school. I graduated from Greenway HS, then traveled around the country for a bit before settling back in Phoenix where I got my bachelor’s degree in education. My teaching career started in the Glendale Elementary District, then I moved to DVUSD in 2007. I taught grades 1, 2, 3, and 6, and I have been a reading specialist and a gifted specialist. My journey brought me to the District Office in 2012 as the DVUSD gifted coordinator, then I moved back to campuses as an assistant principal in 2015. During my six years as AP, I was fortunate to spend the last two at Deer Valley Middle School. While teaching, I obtained my master’s degree and am currently finishing my doctorate in organizational leadership.
