Students will be participating in units Badminton, Soccer, and Fitness during the next several weeks. Beginning in April, students will rotate between units. 3 weeks of Badminton and 3 weeks of Soccer. Students will continue to participate in Fitness every class period. During Fitness, students will participate in activities that develop strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance. An April Pacer will be completed as well as outdoor running.
In Badminton, students will learn game rules, practice serving skills, and how to return the birdie with a few different hits performed in Badminton while continuing to work on hand-eye coordination.
During soccer, students will learn game rules, perform foot dribbling and kicking skills, and attempt shots on the goal for points while working cooperatively as a team playing different positions of the field.
