  • Grading:

     

    Dance is a performance based class.  Attendance is mandatory for learning to take place. 

     

     

    All students are required to participate in class performances.  Dress rehearsals are also mandatory.  Absences will only be excused for illness or family crisis.  A phone call prior to the absence must be made to the instructor for the absence to be excused.  A written paper will be assigned to receive credit for the performance.

     

    Grades will be determined based on the student’s cumulative earned points, weighted by category.  

     

    Rehearsal Etiquette =30%
    Skill Tests/Choreography/Performances =60%
    Written Assignments = 10%

    Mandatory Concert Dates:

    November 29, 2022- Dress Rehearsal 2:30-5:30pm

    November 30, December 1, 2  2022- Concerts 7:00-8:30pm 

    April 25, 2023- Dress Rehearsal 2:30-5:30pm

    April 26, 27, 28- Concerts 7:00-8:30pm
