Mrs. Caia O'Toole (previously Decker)

Greetings! I am excited and truly honored to be beginning my 6th year in Deer Valley and my SECOND year at Terramar!

Throughout the school year, choir, general music, and piano announcments will be posted here, so please check back as I update information frequently here!

2019-2020 Choir Performance Dates have been added to my Teacher Calendar. Please ensure the dates are in your calendars as well!

Ammendment to the syllabus sent home last week:

To the parents who already have black (not the sparkly ones) dresses and ties from previous years, students may still wear those.
Everyone else- For formal performances such as assessment and our Fall concert, students will either wear all black OR white on top, black on bottom. All shirts/blouses must not be a tank top and may not have any logos on them. Girls skirts may be not shorter than 2 inches above the knee. All students will wear black shoes (or as dark as possible) and girls may not wear heels any higher than 2 inches.

Here's a little about me: I attended NAU on full scholarship from 2009- 2013 and gradudated with a degree in Choral music education and a degree in piano performance. I am going into my 6th year as an accompanist with the Phoenix Children's Chorus and am thrilled to be performing and touring to Boston with the top high school group, Encore, this year. I also teach private piano and voice lessons. I am a member of various professional music organizations including MTNA, ACDA, SAI, AMEA, and NSCS.  In addition to my musical activities, I teach group fitness in various gyms throughout the greater Phoenix area and love spending time with my puppy Archibald, my husband Brett, and my niece and nephew. I am excited to share the gift of music with my students during the 2019-2020 school year!
