     The Deer Valley Unified School District's Early Childhood classrooms provide an environment that respects the unique developmental needs of each child.  Our play-based environment promotes language, intellectual, social, emotional, physical and creative development of each child.  We have a three-day program, Monday-Wednesday, and a four-day program, Monday-Thursday.  The program is free for children who qualify for special education in accordance with federal and state regulations.     Children who are ineligible for special education may attend preschool on a tuition-based monthly fee.  The three-day program is $140.00 per month and the four-day program is $175.00.  Parents must use the portal to pay tuition.  All children who attend the program must be enrolled with the front office prior to the first day of attendance.  Peer Waitlist

    DROP OFF:  You will drop off your child at the South Gate between 9:15-9:20 for the AM session.  Drop off for the PM session is between 1:00-1:05.  
    PICK UP:  AM Pick up is at the South Gate promptly at 11:45 AM. 
    PM pick up is at the Middle gate at 3:20 PM.  You will need to have a PreK sign in your car to be allowed to park in the school parking lot at PM dismissal. A parking lot aid will be available to let you into the lot at 3:10. You are allowed to pass the cars waiting in the pick-up line so that you can park. You must exit your car to sign your child in and out each day, so going through the parent pick-up line is not available for Preschool.  (We recommend you arrive at school by 3:10 to park, as the pick-up line gets really long).  
     
    Your child will need a backpack containing a change of clothes, including underwear. We get messy at Preschool. Please place the clean clothing in a Ziploc baggie with their name on it. 
    If your child needs toileting supplies, please include those in the backpack.  You may also make arrangements with Ms. Andi to keep extra supplies at school to reduce backpack weight. 
     
    If your child will be absent, please call the attendance line at 623-445-4790  If your child is a bus rider, you must also call Transportation at 602-467-5070.
