Welcome to Mrs. Hartford's 2022-2023                                                             7th Grade Math & H. Algebra 1-2  

7th Grade Math:  I am excited  to have each of you in my  classes this year!  We will expand on your 6th grade math knowledge focusing on proportional relationships, circles, expressions and equations, geometry and statistics throughout the year. There will be some application projects throughout the year which helps us see how even 7th grade math connects to real life problems!

Honors Algebra 1-2: I am excited for our small but amazing Algebra 1-2 class!  Algebra expands on your knowledge of functions, solving and graphing equations, and exponents and adds to that. We will get ready for the other math classes you will take in high school!

We will also be challenged this year to keep our mindsets positive to get the most out of all our learning. The more you are willing and open to learning and growing the better your experience will be! My favorite quote regarding math is below.
