Hello! My name is Samantha Johnson, and I am in my fourth year teaching 3rd grade at Mirage! I am the gifted teacher for third grade. I am a native of Phoenix, Arizona, and I grew up attending schools within Deer Valley Unified School District.  I earned my Master's degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University in December of 2018. I previously received a Bachelor's degree in English at Arizona State University in 2017. Some of my hobbies include reading, gardening, and travel! In my classroom, we focus on kindness and community building to establish a strong class bond between students in our classroom. It is my strong belief that all children are capable of success when given the proper support. Our college is Pepperdine University located in beautiful Malibu, California. Go Waves!
