•  Welcome to Fourth Grade!

Welcome to Room 311! I am so delighted to be a teacher at Village Meadows.  I have been teaching for 16 years.  This will be my third year teaching 4th grade.

I know that this will be a positive year for your child as we build on past successes and learn new things in fourth grade.  With home and school working together, your child’s academic and social skills will become stronger throughout the year.  Below is important information about our class.

Our school hours are from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Students will be allowed to enter the campus at 8:25 a.m. Students are to go directly to the classroom to eat breakfast.  Breakfast will be served from 8:30 a.m. – 8:45 a.m. Please make sure your student is on time for breakfast.

At dismissal time, students who walk to school or picked up by car will exit the campus at the front of the school.

Our lunch is from 11:45 a.m. – 12: 30 p.m. We need all parents to fill out the free and reduced lunch application.  Please fill it out even if you are not planning on having your student receive free or reduced lunch.

Special classes are on a 5-day rotation as follows:

Students will be required to complete daily math homework. It must be turned in the following day. Your child should be able to complete their homework without help from family members. Daily math homework will begin during the fifth week of school.

If your student will be absence because of covid or a covid related illness or for another reason, please help keep your student academically on track, by having your student complete daily assignments in CanvasCanvas can be accessed through the DVUSD start page.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child, please contact me by phone or email.
