Parents play such a key role in the development of their child's abilities.  At whatever stage your child is in their reading development, I encourage you to model reading daily with your child/children.  Children not only need to learn to read, but they must hear great reading, expressive reading.  They must also learn how to think, question, and reflect upon their reading.  Use discussions to help your child develop strategies to build their comprehension skills.  I hope you will find the websites useful as you continue to join your child's teachers in promoting your student's learning and love for reading.
