Mrs. Reita Tolbert
Mrs. Tolbert graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She received her Master's degree from Northern Arizona University in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in reading. Mrs. Tolbert is currently the reading specialist at Norterra Canyon. She has also worked at Phoenix College teaching reading courses to adults. Previously she taught kindergarten and second grade at Village Meadows; and also served as a Title 1 reading specialist. Before coming to Village Meadows she worked in preschools as a teacher and director. Reita enjoys working with children and adults to provide them the strategies and skills to improve their reading abilities.
Mrs. Tolbert is married and has two children. Reita is extremely proud of her family. Some of Mrs. Tolbert's favorite activities are cooking, reading, and traveling. She enjoys listening to many styles of music, playing the piano, and singing in church. Her most favorite thing is spending time with her family and close friends.
