Ms. Caitlin McAndrew

Ms. Caitlin McAndrew began her educational journey in Michigan, where she attended Western Michigan University to obtain her Bachelor's degree, double majoring in English and Spanish Secondary Education.  She made the move out west in 2007 and hasn't looked back since.  In 2011, she joined Grand Canyon University's alumni with a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, focusing on Secondary Reading.

Ms. McAndrew has been teaching at Boulder Creek High School for seven years.  She enjoys teaching Language Arts 3-4 and advising the Student Government team.  Teaching is her passion, and she hopes to ignite the fire for education inside all of her students.

She loves reading (historical and young adult fiction are her favorite) and travel.  She has 10 countries under her belt and looks forward to many more.  Outside of the classroom, Ms. McAndrew sings in an a capella show choir, the Scottsdale Chorus, performing all around the valley and competing at the international level.  Check out our website for videos and info:
