Parents and Students~

 I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.

I graduated from Ottawa University with a bachelors in special education working with students with multiple disabilities.

I came to Deer Valley School District from Tanque Verde School District in Tucson in 2012. In the past, I've taught both general education and special education in almost every grade level. I have enjoyed working with students of all ages and abilities. I have three beautiful children of my own that all are very different and with significantly different abilities. I celebrate differences and truly believe my greatest gift in this life is learning from our children.

 I will be working with your student on preparing for transitioning from school to their post secondary outcome. My purpose is to assist students in developing skills that they can utilize beyond their high school experience. Some services we will be looking at this year are; guiding students toward becoming more independent, determining post-secondary or vocational program that match their interest, and gaining vocational experience on our campus through different campus programs. Together we will be working on job related instruction, independent living skills training, and transition planning.
