Degrees and Certifications:
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I was born here in Phoenix and have lived in the Northwest part of the city my whole life. As a youth I spent much of my time playing baseball or at the lake with my family.
As a student, I went to Sunburst Elementary followed by Desert Foothills Junior High School and then graduated from Greenway High School in 2001. I received my college degree from Grand Canyon University 2006 where I was a four year member of the baseball program as a player and spent 1 year as a graduate assistant coach for the baseball team.
In 2006 I started teaching PE in the Deer Valley Unified School District at Stetson Hills School. There I taught PE and coached several sports until 2012. In 2012 I transferred to Deer Valley Middle School to teach PE. That same year I was fortunate enough to be named the Head Baseball Coach at Barry Goldwater High School.
I am married to my beautiful wife Kimberly and we have two sons named Benjamin and Caleb.
