Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Kenobbie

I am excited to be at Hillcrest Middle School in my 34th year of teaching. I teach math to students with special needs who are in the 7th grade. Go Falcons!

Just a reminder that my class room is a nut-free room. Students may not eat snacks in the class room that may have been processed in a factory that also processes nuts. They may not bring outside drinks into the classroom except for water.

A little bit about me ~ I have a wonderful husband, Kurt, who I have been married to for 33 years. We have two awesome sons, Miles and Grahm. We also have a feisty Chihuahua - Min Pin mix dog named Jasper who rules the house.

I hold a Bachelor of Art's Degree from Northwestern College, Orange City, Iowa with Certification in both Elementary Education K-8 and Special Education K-12. I have an Early Childhood Endorsement and a Bilingual Education Endorsement. I also hold a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, Arizona. I am Highly Qualified to teach Middle Grades Math. My teaching experience includes two years in Iowa, sixteen years in the Cartwright District in Phoenix and fifteen years in the Deer Valley Unified District.
