Mr. Chapman

    Mr. Chapman moved to Phoenix on an extremely hot August day in 2004. Prior to moving to Arizona, he grew up and lived in Seattle, WA. The polar opposite beauty of the Sonoran Desert--and the wide open skies--drew him to the Valley of the Sun.

   Before pursuing a degree in education, and a career as a teacher, he worked in the financial industry for 10 years and computer programming 5 years prior. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Education from Arizona State University.  The majority of his educational career (15 years) has been in middle school. Mr. Chapman is very excited about his new adventure as the Social Studies teacher on the 7th grade team at Inspiration Mountain! Go Knights!

    When Mr. Chapman is not in the classroom, he enjoys reading, exploring the local area, traveling to other states and countries, and furthering his own education. On what was the happiest day of his life, he and his partner, John, were married in January, 2015 on their 18th year anniversary.
 
    He hopes his students will recognize they are each an integral member of the ever-shrinking global community in which we all live. It is his belief that each student brings to the class an individual base of knowledge, talent, and ability. Each of his students will have the opportunity to be academically successful!
