I am excited to be a part of the West Wing team! This year will be my 24th year of teaching. Throughout my years of teaching, I taught grades first through third and was a literacy coach for a K-8 school. I am a graduate of Northern Arizona University with a degree in Elementary Education. Along with my teaching certificate, I have earned an Early Childhood Endorsement and a Structured English Immersion Endorsement. I am also a trainer for Thinking Maps. My goal in the classroom is to create an exciting, cooperative environment where all students can learn and grow.  I strongly believe in setting high standards in the classroom, because each child can reach their full potential through setting high standards.
