95% Group is a program used in the Deer Valley school districts' elementary schools to ensure success for struggling readers. After giving the DIBELS Next test, reading interventionists can administer the 95% diagnostic assessments to pinpoint where a student is having difficulty in areas of reading such as Phonological Awareness, Phonics, Multi-Syllable word reading, and vocabulary. We deliver instruction that is very explicit, systematic, and multisensory.
The program's mission is simple: to get 95 percent of all students reading at grade level. As interventionists, we help the K - 3rd grade classroom teachers identify reading gaps, set goals, and plan steps to raise reading achievement by working closely together.
