Sonoran Foothills School

Let me just say that I am so excited to be full time now at Sonoran Foothills!  My twin daughters opened the school as 1st graders in 2015 and my son was promoted from  8th grade here in 2019.  For these reasons, I have always considered Sonoran Foothills “my home”.  I have taught sixth, seventh and eighth grade social studies full time and I am beyond excited to teach both 8th grade social studies and world culture for the 2022-23 school year as a Bobcat.  I am from Oregon, but prefer living in the warm sunshine of the Sonoran Desert.  I am an ASU alumni who enjoys traveling locally, internationally and in an RV exploring national parks.  My family keeps me busy and I am a co-leader in my daughters' 8th grade Girl Scout troop that has been together since kindergarten.  My son will be a senior this year at Sandra Day O'Connor High School. My husband and I are celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary this year and, in addition to our three kids, we also have two of the cutest and most spoiled little poodle mix pups that occupy our time.  We are going to have a great year in eighth grade!
