Sierra Verde STEAM Academy

I am blessed to be at Sierra Verde as interim Asst. Principal. I have been in education for over 40 years. I taught PE, Health, Driver’s Ed, along with some Math and Science. I have been able to teach (K-12) in many different areas of the country including CA, IL, LA, PA, OR, and AZ. I joined DVUSD as a teacher in 2005 at Mt. Ridge HS. I later became an AP at MRHS and SDOHS before becoming the Principal at Desert Sky MS. I retired in 2022, but have the privilege to continue to work in DVUSD helping where needed. The highlight of my day is being able to work with teachers, staff, parents and students. When I am not working at school, I love spending time with my six grandchildren. Go Vipers!
