My name is Amy Welch and I am the special education strategist at Vista Peak. This is my 3rd year at Vista Peak and my 9th year in DVUSD. I taught special education and 3rd grade for 10 years at Balsz Elementary School in Phoenix.  For six years, I trained special education staff across the state of Arizona on how to use an online software program for writing special education documents. I have been married for 22 years to my husband, Ted.  We have two children who attend college in Flagstaff.  We enjoy taking day and weekend trips to visit them and enjoy the cooler weather! We also have one dog (Mickey).  I look forward to getting to know all of the students and their families!
