     Classroom Lighthouse
    Behavior Clip Chart

Our class will participate in the Clip Chart behavior management system for classroom discipline. It is based on making
good chLightHouse oices and following expectations. Each child will begin the day in the green section of the lighthouse chart. The student’s clip will move up the chart (blue, purple, yellow) when good behavior choices are made, and down the chart (pink, orange, red) when poor behavior choices are made. Student may receive reflection time in our classroom or buddy classroom. If the student continues down the chart after reminders and reaches the red section, parents will be contacted. Note will be sent home and needs to be signed by parent/guardian and returned the next day.  Poor behavior choices may result in lunch detention. Failure to return signed behavior slip results in loss of recess or classroom privileges until it is returned. Remember that no student has the right to interfere with the learning of others. Thank you for supporting our classroom expectations.

Every day a student ends the day on green or higher student will earn a reward/Class Dojo point. If the student moves up

the lighthouse chart and reaches the yellow section due to goodchoices student will receive acknowledgement and

parents will be notified. This behavior management

program helps develop the students’ ability to choose

    appropriate classroom and campus behavior.
