My name is Ross Dodson (Mr. Dodson) and I will be teaching 3rd and 4th grade students with social emotional disabilities.  I have been a member of the Vista Peak team since we opened our doors to students and am pround to be a Trailblazer! 

Teaching is my passion! I believe every student has the ability to grow.  I love seeing the growth of student from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.  I am an active teacher.  I am currently up and about in the classroom helping all my students.  Not only am I active in the classroom but I am active on the playground as well.  I love playing sports and tag with the students and building those relationships.  It is important to me that the studnets know that my clasroom is a safe place for them and that everyone cares about them and wants them to be successful. 

This is my 12th year teaching students with special needs.  I graduated from ASU with a Bachelors in Special Education.  I have taught a variety of students with special needs including students with Emotional Disabilities, Specific Learning Disabilities, and Autism ranging from Kindergarten to 8th grade.  I am currently in the process of earning my Masters Degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis.  I will finish my masters in the spring.  

I am looking forward to working with you and uour student this coming school year!
