Shawna Bernard, shawna.bernard@dvusd.org, is currently teaching Future Teachers Academy, Advanced Future Teachers Academy, Media Productions, and Advanced/Intermediate Media Productions. She also the sponsor for the MRHS Chapter of FEA (Future Educator's Association). She has taught various computer science and business courses along with teaching at Rio Salado's CIS105 courses. Ms. Bernard taught several dual enrollment courses with Rio Salado as well. Michelle Coots
 
Michelle Coots, michelle.coots@dvusd.org began teaching for the Deer Valley Unified School District in 2006. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Arizona State University and a Master of Education degree in Career and Technical Education from Northern Arizona University. Her certifications include Standard Secondary Education: 7-12 Business and Economics and Standard Career and Technical Education: Business and Marketing. Mrs. Coots serves the Deer Valley Online Learning Program as the instructor for Accounting and Free Enterprise.  "The most dangerous leadership myth is that leaders are born-that there is a genetic factor to leadership. Robert Davis  Robert Davis, robert.davis@dvusd.org, has always had a passion for learning as well as teaching. After a successful and rewarding career in technology and small business for more than 15 years, Mr. Davis completed his teaching certification requirements for Secondary Education from Ottawa University in 2011. Mr. Davis got his CTE certification in 2013 and joined the Deer Valley Unified School district in 2014. He was a CTE teacher at Boulder Creek High School teaching Information Technology and Business Operations.  In 2015, he transitioned to Vista Peak School to help them start their CTE program. Mr. Davis is currently in his second year at Vista Peak. He is also working on a Masters of Educational Technology and should see completion in March of 2017. Online learning is a great platform for the flexibility and the type of tools used for delivery. Mr. Davis’s goal is to allow every student the opportunity to succeed in their educational goals, both in class and Deer Valley Online Learning Program.   He looks forward to a terrific year! Teacher Jayme Fitzpatrick
 
Jayme Fitzpatrick, jayme.fitzpatrick@dvusd.org, has been working in CTE in DVUSD since 2005 . She earned a Master’s in CTE from NAU and a B.S. in Business Management from SUNY at Stony Brook. Prior to becoming CTE Coordinator, she taught Business and Marketing at Deer Valley HS for several years. She also teaches online courses for Rio Salado college.. Mrs. Fitzpatrick’s business experience includes entrepreneurship, and 11 yrs in the private sector working international and small business environments. Jayme has recently participated in the New York Stock Exchange fellowship program for educators, the Wharton School of Business Financial Literacy program for teachers & administrators and the West-MEC Industry Update program to stay current with needs and demand of business and industry. Mrs. Fitzpatrick is passionate about preparing DVUSD students for tomorrow’s careers by providing real-world industry based experiences with state of the art technology and equipment in each and every CTE classroom. Amber Gloria, amber.gloria@dvusd.org, is an alumni of Deer Valley High School. She bring 15 years of real estate industry experience. Student success and significance is her mission statement.
 Courtney Hundley
 
Courtney Hundleycourtney.hundley@dvusd, teaches Early Childhood Education and Advanced Early Childhood Education at Boulder Creek High School. She is also the advisor for Educators Rising and the CTE Internship Coordinator at Boulder Creek. She has degrees in Child Development, Business Administration, and a Master's in Liberal Arts with concentrations in Health, Sociology, and Online Teaching.   Deb Kidwell  
Deb Kidwell, deb.kidwell@dvusd.org, teaches Marketing, Management and Entrepreneurship at Barry Goldwater High School while also serving as Internship Coordinator for all the Career and Technical courses at the school. After an extensive career in Hotel and Lodging, Deb ran her own business for more than 6 years. She served clients in sales training, strategic planning, management coaching, and human resource support. After years of travel and service to adults, she returned to college and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from ASU West in Secondary Education and Business Education. She is fully certified to teach business courses as well as Economics. "Today's experiences and learning prepare you for tomorrow." - Unknown

Lorie Marshall
 
 
Lorie Marshall, lorie.marshall@dvusd.orgearned a business degree from Northern Arizona University and has taught at Sandra Day O'Connor high school since 2001. She has taught Accounting, Information Technology, and Marketing.  Debbie Debbie Moore, debbie.moore@dvusd.org, is a teacher on assignment at Mountain Ridge High School teaching marketing and graphic design.  She helped found the Marketing program and was 1st to teach the Advance Marketing and Sports Marketing classes at R. Kellis High School.  She has spent years coaching track and volleyball winning 5 Coach of the Year Awards. Currently, she coaches a boys’ volleyball program at Kellis High School and a National Travel team.
