    Dear Parents,

The 2020-2021 school has continued to be a challenging time for students, staff, and parents.  Just as we ended the previous school year with the COVID pandemic, we began this year with many of the same issues and concerns regarding COVID mitigation and on-line learning.

I want to thank the entire Greenbrier Community for their perseverance and determination in trying to create the best educational environment possible while following the required protocols from the national, state, and local levels.  We in Deer Valley are so fortunate that our district’s philosophy was to bring students back to campuses as soon as it was safe to do so while providing continued on-line learning for families that still did not feel confident returning to in person learning.

Please continue to follow the Deer Valley website for COVID updates along with processes for the 2021-2022 school year.

I am also sending an article and attaching the link below, that provides suggestions to families to help our students cope with anxiety issues they may be facing with the changes to family lives due to COVID-19.  I hope you find the information helpful to your family.

I wish you a safe summer.  Thank you for giving us your children this year.  Good luck to our 6th graders moving on to middle school!  We hope to see you back at Greenbrier in August.
