    • Individual/group counseling to help students solve problems
    • Help with friend and family relationships, loss, or mental health problems
    • Support groups on a variety of topics
    • Assistance with attendance issues
    • Assistance finding community services
    • Assistance to parents on school and teen issues, etc
    • and so much more! 

    Social emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions (Casel.org). More information on SEL competencies is here . Vista Peak uses the Boys Town Model to support SEL in addition to our behavioral health team supporting students, including myself.
