Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I am looking forward to working with you and your child to make this an amazing year for all of us!
This is my 20th year of teaching. In 1996, I graduated from ASU West with a Bachelor of Arts in Education; with an emphasis in Early Childhood and a minor in Psychology. From 1996-1999, I taught second-grade at Las Brisas Elementary in DVUSD.
I spent the next 8 years at home with our five boys; Justin (25), Jacob (24), James (22), and twins, Jesse and Jonathan (20).

In 2007, I joined the Canyon Springs kindergarten team. In addition to kindergarten, I taught 3 years of second-grade at CS. I am so excited about teaching another year of kindergarten this 2023-2024 school year!!!
I have been married for 28 years to my husband, Jim. Our family lives in Anthem. In my spare time, I enjoy camping, hiking, going to the lake, swimming, playing pickleball, puzzles, reading, watching movies, and getting together with family and friends.
It is my hope that this year will be a most exciting and rewarding time for your child in his or her journey to success in learning.
