• World History
    This course covers Arizona State Standards in World History and introduces students to history and geography and their relationship to economic, political, physical, social, and cultural aspects of early civilization to modern eras. This course is required for graduation.

    AP World History
    This course is designed to developed a greater understanding of patterns and themes in world history. The time periods this course will cover are 8000 BCE to the present. Within each time period several themes will be explored including trade, war, social structures, technology, cultural development, and political organizations. Major turning points in world history will also be explored. Enrolled students are expected to take the AP exam. (Note this course may also be taken for elective credit.)
