• Dear West Wing Parent Community,
West Wing has taken several preventive measures in helping to provide the safest possible school environment. All children are encouraged to wash their hands as they enter the cafeteria each day. There is an outside sink and hand soap available to the students. Teachers also have hand sanitizer and a small sink with soap in each classroom.
Our custodial staff is taking extra precautions at night, by spraying the classroom desks and chairs with a district approved germicide. The school nurse is working closely with the teachers to identify any student who is coughing or experiencing any flu like symptoms and have them sent to the nurse's office.
I have enclosed a district letter that addresses pertinent health information. Please note that we are taking every precaution necessary to keep our students and staff safe from illness.
I have enclosed our district flu shot schedule, this is another proactive way to combat the flu. I have also enclosed the most recent letter from the Maricopa County Health Department.
Please note that if your child is sick, please do not send them to school. A student who runs a fever must be fever free for a minimum of 24 hours before they can return to school.
    Thank you,
    Dr. Price-Barry
