    Freshmen Athletics

High School freshmen are encouraged to participate in freshmen athletic programs.  Each high school offers a wide array of sports for boys and girls.

In order to participate in  any athletic sport, students and parents must complete an athletic packet and turn it in to the school's Athletic Office. Click here for information and forms.

Athletics are an integral part of the educational process and will help support the school's overall curriculum. Participants will be considered student-athletes rather than just students or just athletes. The State Board of Education as mandated by the Arizona State Legislature requires that each school district must have in place a "NO PASS NO PLAY" policy. For more information on eligibility, click here.

High School's offer a presentation for students and parents to learn more about the school's athletic programs, eligibility, and the expectations for student-athletes.  Students and parents also have a chance to meet coaches of a variety of sports.
