I am so excited to be starting my ninth full year at Hillcrest. I previously taught 7/8 Special Education and this will be my fifth year of 8th Grade English Language Arts. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from NAU for K-12 Special Education, 1-8 Elementary Education and am highly qualied in middle school language arts. Additionally, I have just obtained my provisional gifted endorsement and will have my full endorsement in October. 

I have been married to my husband for 27 years and we have two awesome children. Our son, Chase, lives and works here in Phoenix and our daughter, Alyssa, is living and working in the Denver Metro area.  In my free time I have taken up golf, we love to camp and I would travel the world 365 days a year if I could.
