Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Andre

Welcome to my website. I am very excited for this upcoming school year. I can't wait to teach your student!

Here is a little bit about me...

I was born and raised in Prescott, AZ and absolutely loved it! I attended Prescott High School and played 4 years of Varsity soccer there, participated in National Honor Society, as well as Fellowship of Christian Athletes. After graduating high school, I moved to California to attend college at Biola University. At Biola I majored in History and I also played 4 years of soccer at with our team being very successful those 4 years. I graduated from Biola with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. While I would have loved to stay in California, I decided to move back home and complete my education courses and get my teaching credential. The fall semester after I graduated from college, I student taught at Mile High Middle School in Prescott and receieved my teaching credential. In the spring I substituted throughout the Prescott Unified School District and I was a long term subsitute at Mile High for 3 months. I loved my time student teaching as well as substituting and I truly believe that those experiences have made me a better teacher.

This is my fifth year at Mountain Ridge and I am excited to continue my teaching career here. I absolutely love it here and couldn't imagine being anywhere else. I taught U.S./AZ History and AP World History last year and loved my content, the school, and most importantly my students. My classes are assembled around 3 major principles; Collaboration, Creativity, and of course Fun. I strive to help my students fall in love with History as much as I love it.

I also coach the JV Boys soccer team here at Ridge and love the opportunity to help the soccer program grow. I am looking forward to coaching soccer again this year and getting more involved with the athletic program.

I am very excited for this year and hope to learn a lot from your student! If you have any questions please email me.
