Mrs. Baugh

I'm Mrs. Baugh, one of the service coordinators at Arrowhead Elementary. I am ready for another school year with the extraordinary Arrowhead family. For those of you who do not know me, I graduated from National University with a Masters of Arts in Teaching specializing in Special Education. I finished my undergraduate work at the University of Texas at San Antonio earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. I have 11 years of teaching experience. I am passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and helping children reach their fullest potential. I find joy in fostering the love for learning. In my free time, my husband and I enjoy reading, traveling, hiking, playing tennis and watching movies.

I look forward to working with your child this year. As a service coorinator, I will provide specialized instruction for each individual student based on his or her Individual Education Plan (IEP). Services are delivered in the least restrictive enivornment based on student needs. The classroom teachers and the special education team work collaboratively to implement a program that combines classroom instruction and special education services for your child. Students will aquire new skills and continue to make progress toward meeting their individual goals and grade level standards.

As we progress through the school year, it is a pleasure to meet with you at your child's IEP meeting to discuss the wonderful progress that your child is making this year. Thank you for everything you do each to contribute to your child's success. You are a valued member of our school community and a very important member of our special education team. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at any time using email or by phone. Ongoing communication with you as well as your input at IEP meetings is vital to the success of your child.

I wish you and your family a wonderful school year!

Warm Regards,

Anne Baugh
