Welcome

My name is Kelsey Shade, and I'm extremely excited to be your teacher. In my spare time, you can find me spending time with family and friends, working out , hiking, shopping, traveling, coaching softball, attending sports games, finding new eats, or catching a movie at Harkins. 

My Education and Professional Background

I graduated from Northern Arizona University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Special Education, and also earned an endorsement in Structured English Immersion. I'm currently working towards my gifted endorsement.  I began my teaching career in 2012. This is my eleventh year in education.

Mission Statement

As a teacher, I recognize my responsibility to my classroom. I will focus not only on the curriculum but give my students the skills it takes to succeed in life. I want to relate to my students, teach them in a way they understand, and I will create a family-like environment. I accept my role as a teacher and also pledge my dedication to my students.
