Hola, I'm your Spanish teacher, Mrs. Schwartz, born and raised in Mexico City. However, I have lived in Arizona most of my adult life. Needless to say, I know what it is like learning a second language, since I left my native country to marry my husband, and started my new life knowing very little English. It took a few years and a lot of work to become bilingual, as you can imagine.

When I finally graduated with honors from ASU in 1998, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Education Degree. Soon after, I was able to launch my career, and later, to start my own family. I've now been happily married for 30 years, and I've proudly raised 2 wonderful children. I have been very fortunate to be able to fulfill my life's goals and dreams, and teaching has become one of my true passions.

Though I moved away, I still travel to Mexico City at least once a year and manage to keep in touch with my relatives and friends. Which motivates me to keep doing what I do.

I love our Wolves Community here at Canyon Springs, where I have had 9 wonderful years devoting myself to teaching Spanish, each one looking forward to inspiring my students to be all they want to be, and to do all they want to do. There's no place I'd rather be. Can't wait to meet you!
