About me:

 

 

This is my 12th year teaching at Gavilan Peak. I have taught 3rd grade for 1 year, and 4th grade for 10 years at Gavilan Peak.  I was a 4th grade teacher in Illinois for 10 years before moving to Arizona. I am excited to take on a new educational role as a Physical Education and Fitness & Conditioning teacher!  I received my Bachelor of Education from Governor's State University in Illinois, and my Masters in Curriculum & Instruction from The University of Illinois. I have two children, Alexa (20) and Brayden (16).  My daughter attends ASU this year (Go Sun Devils!), and my son is a Junior at Sandra Day O'Connor High School.  We spend a lot of time at the ice rink watching my son's High School hockey games.  I love to spend my free time shopping, going to the lake, and going  to the movies.
