Greetings Aspire Families! I am Ms. Blair, your 5th Grade teacher this school year. We are going to have a great year. Be prepared and come to class ready to learn.
I have taught both 5th and 6th Grade at Gavilan Peak in DVUSD since 2005. I moved to Arizona from California in 2003 and began teaching Language Arts 5-8th grade at Rancho Solano Private School in Scottsdale. While I lived in California, I worked at Long Beach Unified School District's Garfield Elementary School and taught 5th Grade for 5 years. I moved to Arizona to be close to family. I have 1 brother and 1 sister who both live in AZ too.
I have 2 children, Corbin 23 & Reese 14. In my free time I enjoy family, traveling, photography, the theatre, Disney World, Florida's beaches, vacationing in Hawaii, shopping and boating on the many lakes in Arizona. I can't wait to get to know you and all of the things you like to do! Let's have a great year.
