Welcome to 8th grade!! This is my 16th year at Gavilan Peak and my 27th year teaching overall.  I have been teaching middle grades for most of my career and they are my favorite!!

 

I grew up in the Chicago area and moved to Anthem in 2003. I am married and have 6 children total. I have 4 sons, a stepson and a stepdaughter and 6 grandchildren. My boys all attended Gavilan Peak from Kinder through 8th grade!!

 

Outside of school, I like to do things outdoors, whether it be the pool, hiking etc. My youngest is a senior this year and plays basketball, so I also love going to their games and supporting Boulder Creek.
