I have been teaching Earth Science for 18 years. I grew up in Colorado and am an alumni of the University of Wyoming. I started school as a Pharmacy major and knew it wasn't for me. I had always wanted to be a teacher and loved science in particular. When I changed my major, I walked into the School of Education and said, "I love rocks and stars and want to teach." The counselor said, "We have the perfect one for you, Earth/Space Secondary Science." I instantly fell in love with the program and have been teaching Earth Science ever since. I grew up an outdoor enthusiast and wanted to be able to read the story of my surroundings. There is just so much time wrapped up in the beautiful landscapes! And now, I get the opportunity to share my experiences with students and know I am destined for the classroom.
