I follow all campus grading policies including full credit for revisions and no zeros.
My grading policy is based on a great deal of research that shares the importance of practicing skills and content to mastery. It is also based on the first quote students are required to learn, quality.

I believe all students are capable of quality work with enough practice.
My grades equivalency
Q (Quality) 95%-100%
C+(+) (Assignment is Complete with additional strength) – 88%-95% - This is a wide range as student work changes with each specific assignment type.
C (Assignment is Complete) – 80%-87%
NP (Student Needs Practice) – there is no percentage given until students practice the assignment at least one more time.
When students practice more they can earn the full points on any assignment. There is no averaging grades.
