My name is Mrs. Wilson and I am honored to be your teacher for the remainder of the 19/20 school year. We will have so much fun embarking on a new way of learning virtually together!
At the beginning of the year, I was an instructional coach for teachers at Esperanza, but after spending tons of irreplacable time with 6th grade, I am excited to end my third year at Esperanza with the amazing 6th grade students! Here’s a bit of information about me since we will be spending so much time together virtually. I have been a teacher for 8 years and this year will be my 9th! I have taught 4th, 3rd, and 2nd grade and this is my first year with 6th grade content! I am married and I have one daughter who will be a year old on May 22nd! I have a very large family and most of them live in Las Vegas, Nevada which is where I am from. When I am not teaching, I like to watch movies, go shopping, and exercise.
Parents, I am also looking forward to our partnership through this new journey. Parent communication and involvement is key to a student meeting their full potential and I am passionate about ensuring that I have a strong relationship with all of my students’ families. Throughout the remainder of the year, you will be receiving dojos, text, or emails from me and I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. I look forward to building a bond of support and communication with you.
