Hello! My name is Alison Coak (I was recently married. You may know me as Ms.VandeBerg). I received my Master's degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. I also have a visual communication bachelors degree and love incorporating art into my lessons. 

I have two boys of my own, ages 19 and 16. I provide a hands-on approach to learning and plan to incorporate it as much as possible. I am thrilled to be your child's teacher! I am even more excited to meet you all in person! This is my 15th year teaching, and I feel very blessed to be a part of this incredible school and community. 

Here are some fun facts about me: I am an Arizona native (who went through DVUSD schools), and I love country swing dancing, camping, succulents, trail running, spin class, Black Rock coffee, and spending time with my family! I was married this summer to the love of my life. Many of you may know me as Ms. VandeBerg.
