Hello, my name is Heather Crenshaw.  This year will be my 19^th year teaching.  I have taught first and third grade.  I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University, and I am an Arizona Native.  This is my fifth year at Copper Creek!  I taught 3rd grade at West Wing for one year, and was in the Peoria School District prior to West Wing.  I have a 12 year old son, who is in 7th grade here at Hillcrest! He attended Copper Creek from Kinder - 6th Grade.   I have been thrilled with my son's educational experience at Copper Creek, so I was delighted to join the Copper Creek family as a teacher!

I come from a family of educators. I always knew growing up that I would become a teacher one day.  I have a passion for teaching because it brings me so much joy to watch my students learn and grow each day.   We shall become a classroom community, working together as teaching partners, so your child succeeds and embraces the love for learning.  I look forward to getting to know you and your child to make this an incredible year!

When I am not at school, I am running my handmade jewelry and crystal business.  I also love spending time with my family, hiking all over this beautiful state and practicing yoga.  Namaste!
