Salcido Family
  • I am so excited to be your child's kindergarten teacher this year. I am looking forward to creating a supportive classroom community where your child feels safe to learn and explore while developing new and lasting friendships with their peers and other educators on campus.

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Northern Arizona University in 2011. Since I graduated, I have taught preschool, 2nd grade, kindergarten and third grade. I attended the Deer Valley schools when I was a student from 4th-12th grade. I am happy to be back in the Deer Valley District as a teacher now for the past 5 years.

I have an amazing husband who loves music and shares his passion with his high school students and high school marching band students here in the Peoria School District. We have a beautiful 3 year old daughter who loves reading, exploring, and learning. As of June 2021 we welcomed our son, Dylan into our family.

  • I have a wonderful and loving family who has taught me to enjoy all of life's wonders and the worlds beauty. I grew up traveling Europe as my father was in the air force. I have grown up with a love for exploring and seeking the beauties of the outdoors. National Parks are a joy for me to visit as well as the beach, pine trees, and you can never go wrong going to Disneyland!

When I am not attending to teaching duties, I enjoy being a mother to my two children. However, when I am not attending to wifely and motherly duties and take a moment for myself I find myself enjoying; reading, sewing, hiking, snowboarding, camping, and being outdoors.

  • I enjoy country music. I love reading and cuddling up on the couch; especially on a cloudy day. But my favorite reading time happens with my daughter on my lap and we are snuggled together at her bedtime.

I love each and everyday and try to find the beauty within that day.
